New from Jene De Spain

Ahoy! New charm necklaces have arrived from New York based jewelry designer, Jene De Spain. Her little collection of arrows, feathers, birds and horseshoes are simply adorable, and look great layered together or paired with a favorite necklace.

Jene also sent us a new collection of fun chunky silver and gold plated chain necklaces and bracelets intertwined with colorful ribbon. The elements together create a great spring accessory that adds a nice pop of color and texture to any outfit.

Rain rain go away, we've got so many spring lovelies to wear in the shop today.

New Spring dresses from Feral Childe

New dresses are in from bi-coastal designers, Feral Childe. Coming from fine art backgrounds these ladies create their own designs AND their own textiles. Love. For spring they found inspiration from an old book they dusted off in their studio called Tarquinia. Inside were pages filled with images of ancient tomb paintings and bronzes. Instead of creating an all over print, the textiles were made around the construction of the garment for a one of a kind look.

We are in love with this coral number above. The silk was digitally printed (for an eco-friendly, water saving approach) and pleating along the side was made using a vintage press.



We're also loving this adorable one of a kind geometric print sleeveless blue dress with coral trim. Wear it with strappy sandals, long necklace and a messy up-do on warmer days, or layer it over a long sleeve tee, scarf and boots when it's cooler.

April Artwalk this Saturday!

Please join us this Saturday, April 9th, from 6 to 9pm for Ballard Artwalk! This month we will be featuring artwork by Providence, Rhode Island based artist, Molly Bosley. The mixed media collages and paper cut dioramas will sweep you up into their unique narrative and amazing detail.



Local designer Flora and Fawn will also be here with her collection of colorful enamel necklaces and earrings. We are eager to see her new hippopatomuses, squirrels, bunnies and whales making an appearance at the shop!
