Ballard Art Walk this Saturday!


Please join us this Saturday December 13th for Ballard Art Walk! This month we will be featuring local artist Laura Zeck. In her collection Laura uses a mix of acrylic and resin on cradleboard to create images inspired by collectible figurines of different shapes, sizes and colors.

Local designer Run Grady Run will be here to showcase her adorable collection of accessories like "mustache envy" ornaments, ipod sleeping bags and lovable plushies. Also a must to check out is her collection of handmade gift cards and holiday postcards too.

Amy Bengtson here from 12 to 8 pm!

November Ballard Artwalk

Please join us this Saturday for Ballard Artwalk!

This month we will be featuring artwork by local artist Amy Hevron. With her use of acrylics on various types of wood, Amy incorporates a sense of storytelling with each piece, showcasing a cast of quirky "characters" in whimsical little worlds.

We will also be featuring our in house local designer Zuzupop. The Fall collection combines exquisite colors of silk and wool, vintage elements and chic hand embellished details that make each piece beautiful and unique.

Ballard Artwalk this Saturday!

Please join us this Saturday for Ballard Artwalk!

This month, we will be featuring a debut line, Operation Stitch,
by local designer Kate Burt:





Operation Stitch combines the elements of classic style, a dash of old farmhouse and a sense of modern appeal. For her line, Burt prefers to use natural fabrics like cotton, wool and silk that is soft and beautiful next to the skin. For her fall collection she integrates oxford structure while still embracing feminine shapes and appeal with simple tops, skirts and accessories that can be worn for years to come. Operation Stitch is not focused around current trends, but rather simple and clean designs that will be embraced from season to season.

She Bible Fall Collection

Fall goodies are starting to arrive here at Velouria. First up are new dresses and tops from San Franciscan based designers She Bible.
Each dress combines soft jersey and cotton in flattering cuts and styles, and in great colors like deep royal blue, mossy green and rust.
The striped cowl top is one of our favorites. The cowl can be worn around the shoulders, or over your head as a hoodie, like the picture above. If that wasn't enough the sleeves are slightly ruched to offer complexity to the design, while still keeping it comfortable. It's a great layering piece for that Seattle rain!
